Vintage original Gault France ceramic architectural miniature depicting a charming French flower shop, “La Maison aux Fleurs” / Fleuriste.
Made in France and dated 1999. The side is signed and marked “GAULT FRANCE 1999 CLG,” and the underside is numbered 1033/33.
This wonderfully detailed miniature features a dark green flower shop awning, individually modeled flower displays, hand-painted flowers beneath the upper window, tall narrow French architecture, textured masonry, rooftop details and a large chimney. The sides and rear are also extensively sculpted with windows, stonework and architectural details.This is an original Gault ceramic miniature from my personal collection, purchased new in France and kept as part of my collection for many years.
The piece is in good vintage collectible condition with age-related wear. There are areas of paint loss/rubbing and small chips or nicks, including along portions of the roof and architectural edges. Gault miniatures have an intentionally aged and weathered hand-finished appearance, so some of the distressed appearance and variations in the finish are original to the piece. Please review all photos carefully for the exact condition.
