Offered for your consideration is an excellent vintage Bavent de Mesnil French terracotta clay glazed rabbit figurine. This adorable bunny was hand crafted in the village of Bavent in Normandy, France in the late 1990's. The bunny is well crafted and the molding is excellent and crisp. She has orange/yellow glass eyes and is marked with an impressed Bavent stamp to the front left foot.
This bunny is in excellent clean condition with no issues that I can see and measures 6.5" tall to the top of her ears, 7.5" from the tip of her tail to the end of her nose, and 3" wide at the hips. Please see all of the photos as they are an important part of the description.
This cute bunny is an excellent example of an authentic artisan Bavent piece from Normandy.
